We are seeking to recruit an experienced Global Mobility Specialist. In your role you will act as a main point of coordination with relocating employees, for all related activities including relocation policy administration and the coordination of the complete moving process.

The ideal candidate will be driven, agile and approachable, with excellent commercial acumen. They will be experienced in building and maintaining relationships with all levels of employee’s company wide.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • First contact with assignees, addressing all their queries, including registering their needs and managing their expectations
  • Schedule/coordinate pre-move survey appointments with move consultants, partner agents
  • Schedule /coordinate relocation services with Area consultants
  • Rate calculation, including preparation and sending quotation and follow up
  • Coordination of Internal 3rd country or domestic moves, including origin, freight transport and destination services
  • Registration of all information in our IT System
  • Preparation and timely sending of documents for all shipments
  • File initiations of claims, if any and providing necessary advice and assistance
  • Regular contact with corporate accounts and agents, keeping them in the loop of all different steps of the process
  • Prompt and proper response to customer and agents in a professional manner, answer questions related to moving/relocation process to agent / accounts / clients.
  • Perform and monitor cost control for any jobs, improve our handling process and raise efficiency, customer satisfaction, reduce costs.
  • Propose and assist to implement changes/improvements to IT System and move/relocation procedures, services innovation’s, standard documents/forms etc., to increase efficiency and raise service & quality levels.
  • Provide a positive relocation experience for each assignee and their family
  • Learn and understand assigned clients relocation programs including all policies, processes and practices
  • Serve as primary point of coordination between service partners and assignee; includes but not limited to agents, shipping lines, air freight agents, transportation and storage companies, and any other non-routine service partner(s) as required by a particular situation
  • Manage all data pertinent to each assignees relocation file; document all relocation activities and transactions into the appropriate technology system
  • Coordinate with the suppliers to ensure correct, timely and accurate billing of service fees for services performed
  • Continually review freight costs, transportation rates, to keep costs down where possible
  • Fully understand the Cronin Group Ltd offering and product range.
  • Operate within agreed guidelines and procedures for dealing with customer enquiries.
  • Follow up on credit applications from customers and reference.
  • Maintain accurate customer records.
  • Process sales and purchase orders / invoices in a timely and accurate manner, liaising with suppliers on deliveries.
  • Liaise with the Transport Manager and Warehouse Manager regarding shipment coming via the warehouse.
  • Ensure accurate recording of warehouse handling in and out.
  • Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
  • Liaise with the Transport Manage and Warehouse Manager to arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay

Key Skills

  • Must have Financial Acumen
  • Must have excellent Computers / Admin- knowledge of software programmes i.e.: word / excel / outlook with an aptitude for learning new logistics software.
  • Understand the importance of following IT and admin processes and systems, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.  Being capable of coming up with processes / standard work procedures
  • To be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and undertake learning and assisting with the implementation of the company WMS/TMS
